Our History...

January 23rd 1989 Bake's Malibu Boats was established by Bill Baker. At the time, only Malibu Boats were sold on a limited basis. There was no service, Proshop or parts department until a boat customer wanted to have a heater installed. A few heaters were bought and were some of the first accessories sold from Bakes. As demand grew for Malibu Boats, so did the desire for a wider range of products and accessories. As a result, Bakes added more parts, vests, and other water related merchandise. A more official ProShop quickly took shape and a formal service department established within the company. As the convenience of shopping online came about, BakesOnline.com was the logical "next step" for Bakes. The Parts department and Board & Ski Shop have grown considerably allowing Bakes customers the convenience to shop from home. It also allowed boaters from all over the world to experience and do business Bakes. While there may be many places to have your boat worked on, you simply won't find a service center with more inboard boat specific knowledge. We have sold boats, worked on them, and played behind them for over 28 years. Be confident and get the best value and care  for your family and boat at Bakes Marine.
