Brandon Robins Medical Fund

July 15, 2009

Dear Friends and Customers,

Some of you have heard that our employee, friend and Bake’s Pro Rider Brandon Robins was in a motorcycle accident on July 4th. Brandon has defied all odds many times through answered prayers and the support of his family, friends and incredible girlfriend.

He initially survived the loss of 17 units of blood before being airlifted to Harborview Hospital. The staff at Harborview has witnessed the miracle of B-Rob. Brandon was in a coma for nearly a week. He fractured both hips, his pelvis and had multiple compound fractures to his right leg, right arm and hand. He unfortunately lost a finger and required a below the knee amputation of his right leg.

On Tuesday July 14th, only a day after having the ventilator removed he was talking and answering questions with spunk and humor. An incredible outpouring of love and hope is pulling Brandon back to the person we all know and love.

We have received phone calls and emails asking how to help. Taking the time with a note to let Brandon know you are thinking about him is the most important. We have also opened a bank account at Issaquah Community Bank for Brandon’s benefit for those who have asked to support him financially. Checks can be made out to “Brandon Robins”, “Bake’s Marine Center for the Benefit of Brandon Robins” or “Issaquah Community Bank for the Benefit of Brandon Robins”. They can be mailed to Bake’s Marine Center, 6424 E. Lk Sammamish Pky SE, Issaquah, WA 98029 or Issaquah Community Bank, 1375 NW Mall Street, Issaquah, WA 98027.

Please don’t feel obligated to contribute, your notes of encouragement and support is the most important.

Brandon has a long road to recovery and our hopes and prayers are that he will continue to heal quickly and completely both physically and mentally and come back to us.

Sincerely,

William J. Baker President
